Lushoto, which is in the
Usambara Mountains, is four hours drive on
tarmac road from Tanzania’s business and financial capital,
Dar e Salaam. Three hours drive from Kilimanjaro International
Airport, and two hours drive from Tanga. Lushoto
Executive Lodge is approximately 1.5 km from the District
Commissioner’s office at Lushoto, into the Jaegertal
forest. It is the best in the Usambaras, comparable to the
very best in Africa.
